So I took my car about a year ago to service my car the normal stuff oil change, for one they didn't offer me any discount which was part of the deal since I bought the car from them and he added extra services that the car didn't need and gave me an estimate and I told him to take a look at my car and call me with the total amount before servicing it , couple hours later he calls me and he said the car is all set and I owe him 900$ I was like but I told you to call me before servicing it and give an estimate but you went ahead and did it anyways and now I'm stuck with a 900$ bill not to mention that you didn't offer me any discounts or reminded me of any of my coupons that I got when I bought the car? So I got mad and I went a head gave them a bad feedback that they send to my email for me to fill out ,so then they kept harassing me and calling me trying to bribe me by paying 250$ and sent me another survey for me to fill out and basically lie and say that there was no problem and it's taking care off so I refused ,then few months after one of my tires popped so again I took down there and I had a recall that needed to be fixed also off course he tried to rip me off again by saying that I had to change all four tires and it'll cost me about 900 so I took my car to Sullivan tire to get a second opinion and wouldn't you know it they said all my other tires were fine I only need to change that one tire off course I gave them another bad survey , after that I received another recall letter so I called because it's the dealr's responsibility to fix the recall so they scheduled appointment for this morning I took my car down there and the manager refused to service my car because I gave him a bad review in the past and I told him you are my dealer it is your responsibility to fix the recall on my car and he refused to do on top of that he was being extremely rude to me and my boyfriend and I asked him if you weren't willing to fix my car why did you schedule appointment with me and wasted my time and had come all the way down here to tell me that you're not servicing my car ? I have never experienced that in my intire life and I asked to speak to the manager above him he wasn't around so I spoke to another manager and he said that is very odd situation and he had never heard about that before by the way the servicing manger I'm talking about his name is Dan extremely rude person and very unprofessional he shouldn't have this job ,then the higher manager Adam called me this morning being absolutely rude and disrespectful and he hung up on me, I'll never step a foot to that place ever again ., not to mention the miscommunication between them because the same day couple hours later I received a call from one the service department who does the scheduling asking me why I didn't bring my car in today and if need to schedule another appointment .. ARE YOU SERIOUS ?.. I should've known better because the whole deal was shady from the beginning they gave me the worst deal to get the car and extremely high interest and they didn't mention the recall on the car right away and I kept asking about the recall but the sale associate kept changing the subject to get out of the answer but I really needed a car and I was desperate so I was blinded and didn't catch it right away and not even two days the battery died on my car, and now lesson learned the hard way .

Horrible company to deal with

I brought my car th Autofair in Haverhill Ma to buyout my lease. I was told they would have to keep the car there for two weeks until they received a title From ford. So they suggested that I bring it to the Nh store and they could put 20 day plates on it. I brought the car to the Nh Autofair and was told it would cost $1000. Because they had to buy the car from me only to sell it back. Then they told me they couldn’t do it there because I didn’t purchase it there. They told me I had to bring it back to Mass where I bought it. I ended up bringing the car to another dealer and it was done in fifteen minutes! STAY AWAY FROM AUTOFAIR!!!!!!!!

This place is downright awful!!! I purchased a Ford her brand new less than 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems with the car. Of course, everything is covered under warranty so I have to bring it back to the dealership and deal with them every time that something happens. The car started with a bad shudder problem that would happen upon acceleration. I continued to bring it back for over 2 years every couple of months to have them check it and each time they "reset the computer" which did NOTHING. Finally, it did it enough times for Ford's standards to replace the clutch. NOW the transmission continues to have problems. In a matter of 4 days, I had to bring it back for the same problem. It started on Sunday with my check engine light on and the computer screen stating "transmission malfunction service now. I drove it to the dealership Monday morning and they "fixed" it. Monday night when I was driving it home it stopped in the middle of accelerating and would not go but when pressing the gas the engine continued to rev. I didn't have time to bring it back that week because I need it to get to work and back (because they won't give you a rental.) Thursday night the same thing happened when driving it but this time the check engine light came back on and the same message appeared. I had to call a tow truck which took over an hour to come and on Friday the nightmare started. The were not sympathetic at all. It started with a 45 min phone call and the technician told me he would call back which he never did. I called again in the afternoon and there was no record of my call and no notes on the account. The new technician I spoke with said the car was in the shop and he would call me with an update. I told him I didn't want the car back because it is a safety hazard to which he responded that they were going to test drive it and it should be fine. He said I would have to file a complaint with Ford because they couldn't do anything. Fast forward a couple of days when I go to pick the car up and the salesperson was AGAIN not sympathetic to the situation. He said they were bound by Ford and therefore could only do so much. So what he really means is he doesn't want to help because he won't be able to make a sale and get commission off of it. Needless to say I have started the legal process and urge everyone to not give them a dime of your money!!

It did not pass because of exh.leak, and was told they would not fix it but would give him a name of someone who would!! So I guess I will find a dealer who fixes what they sell!! AutoFair Ford - Car Review from Hudson, New Hampshire

I purchased vehicle on 7/31 from sead. When signing papers a lot of double tslk from?Dave? He said my financing depended onmy purchasing a$2000.00 extended warrsnty he changed thr terms that sead and I had agreed on. He extended thr loan to 63 months over the original 60 months to fit the monthly payment I had said I could afford. This was deceptive and type of switch and bait! I should have known better! The next day i spoke with Sead and i drove to autofair to pick up item from my old vehicleand told Sead i wished to cancel the extended contract. I was given a cancellation contract to sign (blank) which i did on August 1 2015. After repeatef calls to get copy of cancellation form i took ride up to autofair to get my copy of cancellation form. This was done on August 12 2015. It is now September 18, and I have not been contacted regarding my refund. My complaint involves the quick and efficient process Autofair ford will sell you a vehicle finance and warranty there product measured in minutes and hours(my purchase took about 2 hours,) my refund has thus far taken over 38 days longer if I use the original time i cancelled through Sead and not the additional 12 days fromAugust 12. I urge anyone buying from Auto faair to go else where. They are dishonest, and deceptive and the sales people are not helpful when you need them after the sale. I am still waiting ready to write my local news reporter

Hi Mr. Elliott.

I'm sorry to hear that your service contract cancellation took longer than you expected. A service contract cancellation takes 6-8 weeks to process due to a number of factors. I looked into your situation and found that you cancelled your contract around the beginning of August, and the refund check was sent to your bank September 15th, 2015. I have confirmed the refund has been credited to your account.

Please give me a call directly should you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you- Austin Mills, Internet Manager, AutoFair Ford 603-634-****

Stolen property and unauthorized service that was faulty while i was trying to purchase a vehicle from them

i went in to trade in my lincoln on a used hummer h3 on a friday night, the salesman insisted i drive the hummer home on temp plates while they were working on the paperwork, saturday, the hummer broke down before the papers were signed, i was told to bring it in the following monday to be repaired, i brought it in, was left without transportation for the day, at the end of the day i was called and told to come pick it up, i was told it was just a bad thermostat and that caused it to lose all the antifreeze and overheat, 2 days later, i called to tell them that it overheated bad and the engine was rapping and it lost all its power, i was put on hold by the service dept. for nearly an hour till they told me to drive it in there the next day and they would fix it again, i got a call the next morning from steve the finance guy in there and he told me to come in and sign papers on the truck, i told him i was already on the way there, when i got there, i was met by the salesman, i told him what was going on with the truck, he went in the office with steve and when they came out, they told me that the would not sell me the truck now and i had to buy something else, i was pushed into testdriving another truck, i told them i didnt want this truck, they kept pushing it on me anyway, finally we demanded my trade in back, after an hour of arguing to get that back, they finally went somewhere off the lot and brought it back, when it got there, it was missing the lincoln floor mats, we looked all over the recon area, the recon guy said he cleaned them and put them on top of the cabinet out back and they disappeared, steve the finance guy said this happens all the time and wrote me a prommisory note to find them or replace them. as he was doing that, some dip from sales came in telling me they serviced my car and spent 1000$ on it repairing it, and i should walk away happy with that, i let him know that they worked on my vehicle without my authorization and i wanted my floor mats back in my car, i was assured they would get them, they *** me around for 2 weeks telling me a bunch of bs lies, i finally went in there and went straight to parts to see if the ordered it, they had no clue what was going on and said no. i went in to talk to the dealership manager and he took my # with a promise to call me back, i got a call from the finance guy again telling me they werent authorized to replace the mats now. i told him that was unacceptable and told him i was coming in tomorrow to deal with the manager again, i got a call from steve again later that afternoon with him offering me the rubber mats out of a caravan and telling me it would be unique and maybe i should just trade my car in there for something else and forget about it. i hung up. i come in the next day and the salesmen and salesmanager would not let me talk to the dealership manager again. they said they would deal with it, they insulted us and tried humiliating us, offered to cut us a 100$ check for my mats and to leave, i said it was unacceptable, they tried selling me a car again, i told them i would not buy here after being treated like this and they got nasty from there, we were told to leave, i went across the street, and called the police, told them what was up, they went over and verified what was going on, they came back and said the dealer told them a slightly different side of the story but it was close, they told me they were told we were not allowed back on the dealerships property and to buy new floormats at autozone for 25$ and email them the reciept, the floor mats that they lost on me are over 300$ at the lincoln dealership, im not going to settle, come to find out, not only were they incompetent on repairing the hummer, they screwed up my ac controls, they also peeled off my inspection sticker and slapped one of their own on it so i had to replace it again, these salesman are crooks and thieves, i wouldnt recommend them to anyone, watch it theyll ***

Unable to keep up their end of the deal

Spent over 3 hrs at autofair ford in Manchester nh trying to buy a truck. I told them I already had financing taken care of. All they had to do was get me to the dollar amount I wanted. 1st truck didn't work then mgr says they can get me into another truck a little older for what I want. That mgr leaves for the day. The new mgr has the audacity to come out and try and tell me "here is where we're at. We can get you into this truck now for over 400 a month!! I asked what happened to our original deal? His response "we were looking at the wrong stock number vehicle." The mgr wouldn't even look at me when he told me. The salesman was great the managers are the ones that lost him his commission and me as a customer. Will NEVER go there again. I can't wait to call the mgr tomorrow and complain. Thanks auto"not"fair

My bad experience with Autofair Ford

Updated by user Nov 27, 2012

To add insult to injury:

When we purchased the SUV the dealer added two insurance policies to the loan, a GAP and Life/layoff. When I went to cancel the policies in Aug.

2012 I was told it would take 8 to 10 weeks to receive the balance of the premium. I refinanced to SUV in Oct. 2012 and was going to use the refund to pay down the loan. I called the insurance company to find out the status on the refund and was told no paperwork from the dealer had been submitted.

I call the dealer only to be told they misplaced the paperwork and would expedite the paperwork. That was in Oct. Still no refund.

My next call will be to the State of NH Insurance Commission to see if they can find out what\'s going on. To be honest I kind of expected this to happen due to my experience with AutoFair Ford

Original review Oct 27, 2012
I purchased a 2008 Suzuki XL7 in Dec. 20011 for the sum of 14,900. The reason I bought the SUV from a dealership is I wanted a safe and reliable vehicle for my 11/2 year old granddaughter and son to drive. Unfortunately I got neither. The first week of ownership the Suzuki was in for service for electrical problems. The dealership found nothing wrong with the SUV. When I drove the SUV I notice the airbag light was on and brought it to the dealer to find out what was wrong. I didn't have an owners manual to look at (we did not get one with the SUV) the dealership said they would order one it took four months to receive it! In the meantime the service manager told my son that the airbag sensor in the seat was finicky and you had to sit in the seat in just the right position for the light to go out. In April the car started to experience new electrical problems. The dash panel would start flashing lights and warnings. We brought it back again and they couldn't duplicate the problem. This continued for another month. I had to drive the SUV to work one night and when I went to leave work the SUV would not start. This is when I went to the dealership myself to get some answers. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the general manager about the problems we were having with the SUV and asked him to take it back and we would buy a different car. The deal he offered was 11.000 for a trade in but he wouldn't budge on the list price of any of the cars he was offering for sale the net loss for me would be in excess of 6000.00 dollars for a car I owned for less than 6 months. He did agree to look at the SUV one last time for free. The result was a multiple page report on how nothing was wrong with the SUV "except" it needed brakes and rotors and four new tires to the tune of 1,400+. At this point I was totally disgusted. I brought the SUV to an independent service shop and within one hour they diagnosed the issue with the SUV. The problem was a defective Body Control Module and a faulty Airbag module. It cost over 1,500 to fix the problem. I asked the shop owner why the dealership could not find the problem. All he said was this isn't the first time I've heard this about Autofair Ford. It is my recommendation you look for a reputable dealership that stands behind their product and steer clear of Autofair Ford.

I used to love Ford cars. I even used to defend them when I'd hear people slamming them...until mine completely went out on my for no reason. I switched to Nissan and now I won't ever have to worry about that again ;)

Beware of autofair ford in manchester NH

AutoFair Ford does not even deserve one star. They are the most unscrupulous dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They charged me invoice then added almost 4k for the *** finance deal they stuck me in. all the while smiling and chatting it up like we were old friends. Takes a very special bunch of people to do that to a person. Whateva, at least I can sleep at night. But do please be careful if you dare to enter their showroom......they will swallow you up whole...and spit you out in a nice new car that you get to pay thousands more then it's worth! good times. Oh & whatever you do...DO NOT take the car off their lot until you have read and re-read the *** terms they are trying to take advantage of you with..cuz they will cover their buts and hang you out to dry! or offer you a few bucks but only if you sign a release not to spread the TRUTH about them! It's only money, I'll get over it someday, but please take my warning seriously. The entire staff is corrupt, unethical and pose a serious threat to the unsuspecting car shopper. If you google "unscrupulous car sales" the description is verbatum of my experience!

Stay Away from AutoFair Ford & IRA TOYOTA Manchester, NH

Typical dealer overpricing when needing service on vehicle without warranty. But, they are worse than others. DO NOT TAKE AN OLDER VEHICLE TO A DEALER FOR REPAIRS. THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST! TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY WHEN IN NEED OF REPAIRS TO OLDER (MORE THAN 5 YEARS) FORD CARS OR TRUCKS. This goes ditto to IRA TOYOTA MANCHESTER NH. TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! STAY AWAY FROM DEALERS FOR REPAIRS OF ANY KIND. EXPECT TO PAY AT LEAST TWICE WHAT IT WOULD FROM A PRIVATE GARAGE!!! YOU'RE PAYING DOUBLE FOR THE PART, YOUR PAYING THE SERVICE TECH'S WAGE AND OVER THAT, YOUR PAYING THE DEALERS' PROFIT ABOVE ALL ELSE. TAY AWAY FROM DEALERS FOR REPAIRS !!!!!!!!

Ditto on the warranty honoring. Also took me for 1600 by not creditiing the unused warranty from a prior purchased. Like stated!

Man, I am really surprised by your review. I have actually gone to Auto Fair Ford for two used cars in New Hampshire and I didn't feel like I got ripped off at all. I would go back, but that sucks that you feel like they were thieves.

Guest

they are the worst a toatal thieves, they stole from me 3 k, sold me a fake warranty for 1500 and when i called to cmplain they treat me like garbage. Stay Away!!!

Guest

Don't buy from Ira Toyota, they give you way less than what your car is worth in a trade, and then they put you in a car you hate and tell you that you can trade it 6 months later without losing value. Everyone knows that the second you drive a new car off the lot it loses value, but when the dealer tells you they will give top dollar and be close to what you paid for it who wouldn't take the deal?

Then when you go back to trade it and get what you originally wanted, they say nope sorry can't do it.

They lie, and add extra warranties to the final papers and get you to go resign them saying its the same papers just one thing was different, and in reality they added thousands to your loan that you didn't want. They are rude and very pushy, and their deals are the worst anyways.

AutoFair Ford buys Customer Satisfaction Surveys back from customers.

AutoFair Ford in Manchester,NH. actually buys the Customer Satisfaction Survey back from the new car buyer, after Ford Motor Company mails it to the customer five weeks after the sale. Then the sales and business managers fill it out and sign it, as though the customer was actually submitting it. Which allows them to keep their BLUE OVAL certification, as well as to deceive Ford as to their sales performance. God help you, if your $38,000 vehicle turns out to be a lemon, eight later? Then you are told by a sales manager; " We don't build them, we only sell them." Then you are left with no recourse, because the dealership already submitted your copy of the fraudulent/forged Customer Satisfaction Survey to Ford about how happy you are with your vehicle! It's shameful, when a salesperson advises you to talk with a lawyer about their employer?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

September 19, 2008

They offered us twelve thousand dollars to drop this matter, Chucky! Now how honest do you think your employer is now? Just figure......twelve thousand dollars is most likely nine months pay for you, at Auto Fair?We refused their offer though, Chucky!!!!!!

Joseph Jyf

Chuck,

That's a capital " L ", as in LOSER!

Joseph Jyf

In response to Chuck Ledel's reply: My poor uneducated Charles. How far did you go in grade school?

I take it, your Mommy's computer doesn't have the spell-check feature? You should start spelling your last name using a capital letter Charles? The other spelling errors you will learn while getting a G.E.D. my lad! You definitely work for AUTOFAIR, Chucky......I bet you empty the trash buckets at the salesmans desk?

I'm sure there aren't any blank customer satisfaction surveys among the empty"nip bottles" in there! Keep your chin up, Chucky......soon you'll be promoted to the car wash department!

Guest

Chuck, you must work for autofair.

I hope this hits the paper, they deserve any bad press they get.

Guest

i love autofair for they are just doing there job and maybe if you had a life you would worry about the exelent customer service you recived when you were in the dealership

Linda M Uez

Adell is the manager that accepts the survey from the customers and walks it quickly into the business office. The blank survey is then filled out privately and the customer is never told what was put down on the survey they just sold to AutoFair Ford, INC.

Linda M Uez

AutoFair Ford surely isn't helping the slide of Ford stock lately? They ARE helping their dealership to look better!

At the customers and Ford Motor Companys expense!

They need to do a clean sweep at that dealership and instill some integrity in their managers.

Linda M Uez

The Union Leader will print this story in several days. They were supplied with the paperwork that is signed by the business manager, promising to buy the survey from the customer, as long as it was handed over to them blank.

Linda M Uez

It's costing them $ 200.00 per survey, in order to catch up to Portsmouth Ford? At least two of the sales managers are in on the scam, also!

Auto Fair Ford, Inc./ Terminates honest salespeople

AutoFair Ford recently terminated a friend of mine for trying to do the right thing by the customer. Recently becoming a new father and all. He was told;"We can't use your type in this business, your here to move vehicles...not make friends!" Each salesperson has to document each and every contact they have with anyone that walks onto the lot?His mistake was trying to steer the prospective used car buyer away from a vehicle that had a history of transmission problems, which is the reason it had been traded. Although the couple was very grateful for his information, it cost him his job at Auto-Fair!

This is as good a reason as any to switch over to a CHEVY! Upper management on our team takes care of the customer, before and after the sale.

They don't have to pay cash for the survey saying that they are doing their jobs.

They take pride in their jobs, as well as in the product they sell. Ford is on a slow boat to finacial ruin anyhow, if you read the stock page.

This auto fair story is getting a whole lot of hits I can see. Actually it is a big deal.

Blue collar Americans should't be getting ripped off by $ 8.00 an hour sales managers that only make a decent weeks pay if they can move their product. This deception is only a last ditch effort by uneducated minimum wage earners, some without even a GED, in order to keep their jobs for another week, day, or month.......before getting canned and moving down the road to whoever else will hire their uneducated miracle medicine mentality

for another couple of months before it's obvious their lack of class and education gets them thrown out the back door once again. If you can't repect yourself, how can you respect your customers? The majority of car sales guys disgust me.

I wouldn't trust them with two dollars to buy a loaf of bread and come back with it.

Call the B.B.B. on their pathetic butts!

Car sales are really taking a hit this year, Dude. So what if they want to submit false documentation to Ford with your signature on it?

It's not like anybody is going to be charged with forgery? Those car sales dudes move around like gypsie's! Ford isn't about to prosecute their own dealership for deceptive business dealings? That would definitely make the ford stock plummet!

Ford doesn't want anyone selling their products being charged with that type of crime. Bad for business, Dude!!!!!!!!! I would't do business with them, but you must of heard about their sleazy rep before you bought a car there?

" Lay in the gutter long enough your bound to get fleas!"

When people are that sleazy, you can't do anything to change them. Buy a chevy and write it off as dealing with bottom feeders.

Save yourself thousands of hard earned dollars and drive a few miles up the road to Unique Ford in Goffstown. Unique Ford is as legit a dealership as you will ever find on the entire east coast!

AutoFair sacrifices repeat business and keeping their word after the sale, for more units sold each month in order to become a dealership like Portsmouth Ford.

That will never occur though, because AutoFair is all cut-throat sales tactics with absolutely no integrity of their management staff. GO TO UNIQUE FORD!

Gil Martinez and Dave Miles are the one's to speak with in the business office, about getting paid for the survey. They are pretty cool and will put it in writing for you.

Call ahead of time, the day the survey arrives in your mailbox and Adell ( sales manager ) will be waiting at the door for you, to slide the survey inside his suit jacket and get it back to the business managers.

How many dealersships are doing this for people?????? Better Hurry........They'll get caught sooner or later!

Auto Fair Ford buys customer satisfaction surveys from customers!

Auto Fair Ford in Manchester, NH. actually buys the Cusomer Satisfaction Survey back from the new car buyer, after Ford Motor Company sends it to the customer five weeks after the sale. Then the sales manager and business manager fill it out and sign it, as though the customer was actually submitting it, then return it to Ford in order to continue on with their Blue Oval certification. God help you if your $38,000 vehicle turns out to be a lemon eight weeks later? Then you are told: "We don't build them we only sell them." With no recourse, because they already submitted the fraudulent/forged survey to Ford about how happy you are with your vehicle!
